Light makes most people feel safe. Light coats, showing everything, leaving no room for doubt about what is around you, when really, there are always shadows these kinds of people ignore. People looking in can see you, but you can't see them. Darkness makes me feel safe. When there is darkness, it is protection, a blanket, but when you are covered with inky black, you must trust your other senses, rather than sight. Some of the best friends can be made this way, by seeing with your heart, not your eyes.
